Thank you for this amazing project. I am a 3D Artist + illustrator and would love to create a free Bangla font, modern and optimized for both printing and electronic media. I want to join the volunteer for developing Bangla typeface.
It will be great if you have a guideline. or instruction steps that I can follow. I am a long time Adobe illustrator user. I know a little about the process how to create English fonts with fontforge but I assume it will be a different process for Bangla font.
I really want to make something good. that people will love to use. A new Bangla font that is beautiful and sleek (Sans Serif possibly). It will be absolutely wonderful if you can let me know how can I contribute in free Bangla font project. How to get my design from illustrator to a usable open type font. and also it will be great if it works with Avro as well since lot of people seem to be using it these days.
