[fmp-users] FMP hits Savannah!

    Dear all,

I am happy to announce the registration of Functional MetaPost as
a Savannah project:

    http://savannah.gnu.org/projects/fmp/

No files have yet been uploaded to the archives.  However, I have
started to fiddle with the settings and hope that things will
settle eventually.  As a first "milestone", we should probably
aim at a release of the current sources (version 1.2).  Although
formally I am the administrator of this project, I highly welcome
and will try to immediately implement any comments and
suggestions.

I have also created two mailing-lists, fmp-users and fmp-hackers,
on which the further development of FMP can be discussed.  This
messages reaches you via the fmp-users list.  In case you want to
become involved in the actual development of the software, please
drop me a line and I will add you to the hackers list.  Please
note that the language of both mailing lists will be English.

I am really looking forward to the further development of FMP,
and hope that its registration as a Savannah project will make it
easier to combine our efforts and make FMP known to a larger user
community.
