Dear ff3d's,

Version 1.0-pre5 has been released today. It comes earlier than planed, so not
expect many changes. This is due to the fix of an important bug that was
discovered by Arun Viswanathan. This bug was really severe since it forbided
the use of different boundary conditions on POVRay objects when using
fictitious domain method.

Here comes a summary of what changed.

Bugs fixed in 1.0pre5:
* surface mesh referencing (thanks to Arun Viswanathan's report). This
  bug was introduced in 1.0pre5.
* reading of functions saved in Medit format
* fixed documentation Postscript file generation (thanks to Karl
  Hauschild remark)
* fixed compilation on Alpha architecture, renaming __alpha variables
  to __Alpha (Christophe Prud'homme report)

This is still a none binary distribution.
To get the sources proceed as follow:
- - cvs users:
  Getting 1.0pre5 release:
    cvs update -r v1-0pre5
To keep in touch with the cvs tree use more likely
    cvs update -A
- - getting tarballs, check the following url:
  http://www.freefem.org/ff3d/sources/
- - windows binaries are available at
  http://www.freefem.org/ff3d/binaries.html

We are still working very hard on the surface mesh generation, and this should
appear in the next pre-release, quite soon hopefully.

Best regards,
Stephane.
