Dear Espresso users,

the school "Particle-based Simulations for Hard and Soft Matter" will take
place at the Institute for Computational Physics at the University of Stuttgart
 October 10-14, 2016.
Th school covers particle-based simulation and visualization software developed
in the "SFB 716" research cluster of the German Science Foundation, namely
* Espresso (http://www.espressomd.org)
* Imd (http://imd.itap.physik.uni-stuttgart.de/)
* Pasimodo (http://www.itm.uni-stuttgart.de/research/pasimodo/pasimodo_en.php)
* Megamol (http://www.vis.uni-stuttgart.de/megamol/)
There will be both, lectures and hands-on tutorials.

Regarding Espresso, the school is a great opportunity to get started with the
software, learn about the underlying principles, and discuss development
projects with other developers.

Beginning with the next release of Espresso, Python will be the default
interface language.
Therefore, this year's Espresso-related lectures and tutorials will be based
entirely on the Python interface of Espresso, so the school is also a good
opportunity to get to know the new interface.

Detailed information about the school and about registration can be found here:

Regards, Rudolf
