[ESPResSo] torsion potential

Dear all,
first, i'd like to thank everyone who contributed to provide
an excellent service to the scientific community.

Then, i have a question: can someone please
explain me (or  give some reference) the sentence
at the bottom of pag 50 on the  documentation file:

"Together with appropriate Lennard-Jones interactions, this potential
(the dihedral potential)  can  mimic a large number of atomic torsion
potentials."
