Sorry for the long delay of this reply. Unfortunately, our servers were
down during the last 36 hours or so, therefore I couldn't answer before.

This problem seems to be connected to the build system and the automatic
dependency tracking feature. As a quick workaround, it might help to use
the option "--disable-dependency-tracking" to the configure script.

However, I have now heard, that compiling ESPResSo on JUMP has a few
more issues. I will have a look into it as soon as I can access JUMP
again (network seems down?).
