FEATURES

There's a "legend" class for labeling plots. The sample files dataplot, shadeplot, and legend give examples of typical use.

The "inlay" function for screens acts similarly to "inset" but treats
the coordinates of the child screen as true pt. More-or-less arbitrary glyph-like objects can be built in a screen, then placed into the parent figure. The functions "inlay_horizontal" and "inlay_vertical" treat the named direction as true pt and the other as Cartesian coordinates. This facilitates the creation of error bars and the like, for which the height should be specified in Cartesian, but the width should be independent of the bounding box.

NOTES

The output format interface has been re-written to simplify creation of new output formats and enforce uniformity of appearance between different formats.

The active screen is now stored in a stack. User code can activate a screen (as before), draw in it, then deactivate, restoring the previously active screen. This functionality isn't sophisticated, but it should be fine for "normal use".
