Enigma does support french text. You should be able to change the language 
in the options menu.

Be warned however, that Enigma does not translate levels. In the next 
version that will be possible,
but translaions will not necessarily be available for all levels. (TThe 
exact number of levels with transations
is currently unknown, but will probably be somewhat small in the next 
version. In future versions the percentage
of translated levels will hopefully increase.)

Yes there are some cheats. Type "cheat" (perhaps it is "cheats") while in a 
level, followed by enter for a list.
