I have no idea what is causing your problems; the current cvs version
has a few bugs I know of, but none of them are related to linking the
binary.

The error message you get indicates that px/dict.o is missing.  If it is
missing, your cvs snapshot is probably broken (don't ask me how this
could have happened).  

Checking out a fresh copy from cvs may solve the problem, I don't know.
