Yes, I agree with that.

BTW, there are still some patches for the mpd-player lurking at

git://randomsample.de/emms.git

I don't know if you'd like to include them in 3.1 (I've been using this
code now for quite some time without problems), but in any case it'd be
nice if they could be merged eventually in some branch; I think they
should still apply without conflicts.
