Or one of the philosophies, that is. We also support GTD, somewhat:

Planner philosophy, for me, is that the best PIM is one that I can
tweak as new ideas come along. I like its hackability. This may not be
the case for other people. People can set up Planner once and then
treat it like a fixed-feature PIM that supports Franklin-Covey (or
GTD, if they've set it up that way). That's perfectly fine, too. =)

On the other hand, it takes a bit more hacking to fit hierarchical
planning or funky project-management charts into planner.el, so
sometimes other tools like org.el or etask are better for the job.
That's okay as well. <grin>
