Having just realized that the MIT application deadline is just _7__
days away, I have hacked in deadline support for planner. See
planner-deadline.el .
It's not perfect. It's not even pretty. It will, however, rewrite
tasks of the form
#A0 _ Some text here {{Deadline: 2004.12.15}}
to
#A0 _ Some text here {{Deadline: yyyy.12.15 - 7 days}}
No faces yet, no funky stuff, nothing really nifty. Happy hacking.

Hope the annoyance barrier is low enough to get funky features like
this built into it. Feel free to rewrite my implementation.
