[O] org-publish-attachment doesn't follow symbolic links anymore

I'm using symbolic links in a directory managed by
org-publish-attachment. As of a few weeks ago, org-publish-attachment
doesn't upload the files linked to to the ftp server like it used
to. There is no error message, only:

Copying filename.pdf to /ftp:address@hidden:/dir/...done
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---

but the file isn't uploaded.

A regular file is correctly uploaded to the same ftp server by
org-publish-attachment.
