[O] [ox-odt] equation numbering

Hi,

So beside the strange image problem

For some reasons ox-odt format my equation like (3.1.1) when it's in
section 3.1.  This is quite abnormal for anything shorter than a book IMO.
Rather, it should be numbered (n) where n is the next single number from a
separate global counter, e..g (1) for the first.

Does somebody know how to make the "equation counter" behave like this?
