Another option is to use Thorsten Jolitz's excellent outshine mode ( http://orgmode.org/worg/org-tutorials/org-outside-org.html ). I've written a small extension that allows it to fold language elements: http://www.broadinstitute.org/~ilya/outshine-python.el
