The tutorial makes certain assumptions that you probably have not
satisfied. In particular, it assumes that you have done the setup
described in section 1.3, "Activation",  of the Org manual, available
through Info or on the web at:

   http://orgmode.org/manual/Activation.html#

The keybindings described there should be placed in your .emacs
initialization file.
