When point is at [] and I press TAB, nothing happens.

The only org-list-vars I have set are these:
(setq org-list-two-spaces-after-bullet-regexp "\\.")
;;1) not work
(setf org-list-demote-modify-bullet
'(("+" . "*") ("-" . "+") ("1)" . "-")))
Turning off filladapt does not fix it.
Latest org.
