It happens for the simplest template you try(any):
GNU Emacs 24.0.50.1 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.20.0) of
2010-05-20 on jetski
Org-mode version 6.35trans (release_6.35g.161.ga2518)

its a very simple setup(if using auto-install):
http://www.emacswiki.org/emacs/AutoInstall

after u install auto-install you can call
M-x auto-install-batch
anything RET

After that:
(require 'anything-startup)
