[Orgmode] Error making new org-mode git pull

I have attempted today to do a routine update by running git pull, then making.  Make fails with the following message:

Loading /etc/emacs/site-start.d/65wl-beta.el (source)...

In toplevel form:
lisp/org-faces.el:399:1:Error: Wrong number of arguments: #[(face spec doc &rest args) "\304\30D

Perhaps I have bodged things up?
