MacOS is a nonfree system, which makes support for it a secondary
goal. When it is not too painful to support a feature on MacOS, and
someone wants to do the work, that is fine. But our goal is to
replace MacOS, not to enhance it.
So we should not adopt a risky design for the sake of benefis on
MacOS.
If people want something better than MacOS, they should switch to
GNU/Linux.
