I don't see such switches.  It looks like this is a "feature", and
cannot be turned off.  It is triggered by the -f command-line option.
Unless we can do without -f, someone should talk to Autoconf
developers and ask them for a workaround.

Alternatively, downgrade to an older Autoconf.
