I think this is even more confusing, really -- it sounds like buffers
are temporary things that may disappear without you knowing ("e.g.").
If anything needs to be said here, it's that buffers aren't necessarily
tied to files, and if such a buffer is killed, the contents of the
buffer will not be saved anywhere.
