These are the correct values: 46 is the Emacs representation for 11, and 34 is the Emacs representation for 8. So I'm puzzled as to why the tests failed.
What is in test/data/data-tests.log? What is the output of the following shell command?src/emacs -Q -batch -eval '(message "%S %S" (logcount 9727) (logcount 9999))'
It should be "11 8".
