Confirmed, that doesn't happen with my version.

I agree that having two packages that provide "auto-capitalize-mode" will be
confusing to users. What about "cisa" (Capitalization IS Automatic) or
"capp-e" (Capitalization is an Automatic and Pleasant Process in Emacs)?
