Indeed, "sv" is just a shorthand for "savannah". Those lazy GNU people!
BTW, AFAIK "git.sv.gnu.org" is also the same as "bzr.sv.gnu.org" (and
all other "<vcs>.sv.gnu.org"), but this is not just a shorthand: they
could potentially be separated to distinct hosts at some point in
the future.
