I'd prefer AUCTeX keystrokes (prefix C-c C-f, I guess for "face"). I
don't often make mistakes with those, even in Texinfo (where there are
a bunch of potentially confusing C-, Sh-, bare character clusters).
YMMV, I'm just another data point along the road.
