That what I was wondering. That makes C-i unavailable. This is in a
way similar to the "unavailability" of M-Tab in many environments.
FWIW, I notice C-Tab is delivered as :
 - C-Tab under X
 - Tab under xterm and similar
 - Tab under TTY
