Are you sure?  I thought is was a feature.  Like, I need to mark
(transiently) 10 lines before point, so I do C-SPC C-SPC C-u 10 C-p,
then I see that I started the region two chars before where I wanted, so
I do C-x C-x and 2 C-f.  Nop?
