Yeah, I would use SPC en dash SPC, or SPC -- SPC in texinfo. But
using em dash is fine with me as well, if that is the recommendation
for the GNU project. I was just curious because I had recently read
the Bringhurst book which said that using em dash in this situation
was "old school".
