The problem was introduced by this change:

* eval.c (unwind_to_catch): Use UNBLOCK_INPUT_TO.
(Feval, Ffuncall): Use CHECK_CONS_LIST.
* lisp.h (CHECK_CONS_LIST): New macro (two definitions).
* blockinput.h (UNBLOCK_INPUT_TO): New macro.
(TOTALLY_UNBLOCK_INPUT): Handle a pending signal if any.
Specifically, by the use of UNBLOCK_INPUT_TO in eval.c.
