Multiple-line copyrights

Richard has told me that copyrights on multiple lines are acceptable and
indeed, many of the copyrights in Emacs are on multiple lines.

However, lm-verify chokes on this. Would there be any objection if I
modified lisp-mnt.el to accept multiple-line copyrights?
