Okay, it did work for all .po files coming with gettext. It does not
work for short files. Reading the docstring of
`insert-file-contents-literally' I think it isn't necessary to play
with a temp buffer and insert parts of the file only. IIRC, you told
us something along these lines in the past, Eli?
