Rumor has it that there are files in the Emacs source code where it
would be dangerous to turn on unify-8859-on-encoding-mode and/or
unify-8859-on-decoding-mode. WIBNI it was possible to put, say,
-*- unify-8859-on-encoding: nil; unify-8859-on-decoding: nil; -*-
in the first line so that even people with
(unify-8859-on-encoding-mode 1)
(unify-8859-on-decoding-mode 1)
can edit the file without problems?
Or is this possible already, and I just don't know it yet?
