Maybe the XF86 fonts at
ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.1.0/binaries/Common/Xfnts.tgz?
They aren't in bdf format, though... they've already been converted to
pcf. Unfortunately, to get them otherwise, you need
ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.1.0/source/X410src-2.tgz, which
also has the documentation. Either way, you have to download more
than you need.
But it does contain a bunch of fonts in iso10646-1 encoding.
