Dired's d x sequence to delete files cannot deal with e.g.,
$ ls
'BR186585-'$'\n''en_'$'\n''.png'
'BR186585-'$'\320\n\211''_'$'\320''.png'
It says "deleting... done" but a 'g' command reveals they are still
there as good as new.

Maybe dired should not be fooled by newlines is filenames somehow...
