Severity: important

The Development section of https://www.gnu.org/software/diffutils/ contains:
For development sources, bug and patch trackers, and other
information, please see the Diffutils project page at
savannah.gnu.org.

The implication that Savannah has diffutils trackers is wrong.
diffutils has a debbugs issue tracker:
https://debbugs.gnu.org/db/pa/ldiffutils.html

We seem to have reached an impasse.
I request more information, and still you provide nothing new.
Until you explain clearly what you feel is the bug, there is nothing
else to discuss here, so I have closed it yet again.
