--- Begin Message ---Subject: command line argument "+" vs. inhibit-startup-screen Date: Sat, 24 Aug 2013 21:09:21 +0800 This bug was introduced just this week. emacs-snapshot: Installed: 2:20130821-1 $ cat /tmp/.emacs (custom-set-variables '(inhibit-startup-screen t)) $ HOME=/tmp emacs +9999 /etc/services / Note how the TOP part of /etc/services is displayed (BUG!), until we do C-x o and then SUDDENLY we are correctly looking at the bottom part.
