Details:

I'm using Duplicity v0.5.16 on a Centos 5.2 server and have a bash script
running on a cron job every morning backing up to Amazon s3.

Occasionally it fails with the following message:
<pre>
Download
s3+http://ar-web1-backup/duplicity-full-signatures.20090427T162142Z.sigtar.gz
failed (attempt #1, reason: sslerror: The read operation timed out)
Download
s3+http://ar-web1-backup/duplicity-full-signatures.20090427T162142Z.sigtar.gz
failed (attempt #2, reason: sslerror: The read operation timed out)
...
Giving up trying to download
s3+http://ar-web1-backup/duplicity-full-signatures.20090427T162142Z.sigtar.gz
after 5 attempts
BackendException: Error downloading
s3+http://ar-web1-backup/duplicity-full-signatures.20090427T162142Z.sigtar.gz
</pre>

It does this seemingly randomly. Some mornigns the backup script runs fine,
other mornings it throws the error above. I also have the exact same bash
script running on my Mac OSX (with Duplciity v0.5.06) and this has *never*
thrown the error.

Any idea what might be causing this issue or any suggestions how to solve
would be appreciated.

Many thanks
