Update of bug #26112 (project duplicity):

                  Status:                    None => Invalid
             Assigned to:                    None => loafman
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed

Follow-up Comment #1:

This is not a bug. Duplicity needs to decrypt the remote manifest file to
compare it to the local copy, otherwise, it is possible to alternate between
using --archive-dir and not using it, resulting in the remote and local being
out of sync, which is a worse problem than supplying a password.

--use-agent was implemented to allow you to use gpg-agent or compatible.
This will supply the password for you.
