Follow-up Comment #3, bug #25949 (project duplicity):

By drive by, I mean anonymous.  When I respond the answer does not, can not,
get to you in a timely manner since it requires that you come by here and
check.  It just means that I'll answer this and probably have time to forget
all about it by the time you read it and respond.  If you are signed it, you
get my reply via email, just as fast as the electrons can move.

BTW, no offense intended at all.  I was trying to be "cute".

The only difference I can think of would be the timeout value itself, which
is set at 30 seconds.  This may not be enough, so what I want you to try is
0.5.12 with 2 options added, -v5 for verbosity, and --timeout=300 for the
timeout value.  I looked and the ncftp utilities all have higher default
timeouts than what is set in duplicity.

If .12 shows timeouts still, just send the first few hundred lines and the
command line.  Thanks for helping debug this!
