Follow-up Comment #1, bug #25542 (project duplicity):
Hi,
I had the same issue. Currently, you can use the --archive-dir option to
have duplicity write the signature (and the backup) to the given directory.
Then, you'll have to split the signature (with your favorite archiver, 7z,
rar whatever), and send it manually to your imap account (to avoid loosing
it).
The opposite step is simply to get back the signature from your account,
rebuild the source signature file, and store it back on your "archive-dir"
folder.
It's a PITA, but it works.
BTW IIRC, signatures are only required for incremental backup.
