Follow-up Comment #2, bug #22979 (project duplicity):
If I'm reading this correctly you're on Cygwin. It appears that there's a
problem with their command line parse. On Linux either one of the quoting
options works, surround with quotes, or use backslash-space.
In this case, there's little I can do. If the arguments are not being passed
correctly, there is little I can do to correct it.
If you are on Linux, what shell are you using? What distro?
