Follow-up Comment #2, bug #20176 (project duplicity):

Even better would be something along the lines that 'sitecopy' works; I'd
define my local directory and remote backup locations in /etc/duplicity, or

Then the command itself could just be "duplicity backup $path" or "duplicity
restore $path [$destination]" or "duplicity verify $path". Much easier on the
wrist and the brain than providing all of the options each time.

I have different directories backed up to different remote locations (with
potentially different pass-phrases, file-include lists, ssh options, etc), so
ideally duplicity would allow me to either name my backup systems, or else
determine the appropriate one automatically from the provided path.
