Details:
When trying to backup into an empty directory (i.e. the initial backup)
duplicity fails with the following error message:
Could not read directory listing data: Connection reset by peer
The workaround seems to be to create a dummy file, so that the listing of the
target dir isn't empty.
Nevertheless, this is as annoying as dangerous as it will frequently cause
the initial backup not to take place at all.
