hey Edgar,

I not write the error but I try it again and answer after.

I  have some one question.

I read the  duplicity list-current-files file:///backend/url --time 2023-07-21 and now I want to restore this files

I  use the command

duplicity --no-encryption --file-to-restore backup/data --time 2023-07-17T03:20:03 file:///backend/url  /restore/2023-07-17

If I use this command is ok?

good to hear Sergey,

just checked the source
https://gitlab.com/duplicity/duplicity/-/blob/main/duplicity/dup_time.py#L47-76 and it states that '<month>/<day>/<year>' like '06/22/2023' should work fine.

what's the error?

sunny regards ..ede

hey Edgar,

Thank you  for answer.

With --time 07/17/2023 is not working, but with

duplicity list-current-files --time 2023-07-17 file:///backend/url is working now.

Hello to all.

Can some one to suggest me how I read the  duplicity list-current-files from Incremental backup some thing like

Incremental         Fri Jul 21 03:20:01 2023 1

hey Sergey,

in case you want to list backed up files of a specific full/incremental backup set use the `--time <time>` parameter as documented in the man page
"
list-current-files [--time <time>] <url>
Lists the files contained in the most current backup or backup at time. The information will be extracted from the signature files, not the archive data itself. Thus the whole archive does not have to be downloaded, but on the other hand if the archive has been deleted or corrupted, this command will not detect it.
"
use a time format a described in the man page too https://duplicity.us/stable/duplicity.1.html#time-formats

so e.g. for the "Incremental Fri Jul 21 03:20:01 2023" it is probably

duplicity list-current-files --time 06/22/2023 your://backend/url

note: assuming that you did only one backup that day i chose the next midnight for the listing. there are other time formats too (incl. time of day). check the manpage.

good luck! ..ede/duply.net
