thanks edgar,
i assume the only thing you can do when the verify run indicates a missing difftar file is doing a fresh full backup. is that right or is there a possibility to rescue the backup?

best,
thomas

hi there,
i am running duplicity 0.6.24.
i do backup to a remote location. lets say, one of the difftar files gets
deleted there, does duplicity handle this situation on the next backup run?

not automatically. missing or corrupted files will break their backup chain
which is detected by verify runs. personally i run verify after each backup and
check the logs regularly to deal with problems.
