Mike: will there be tgz snapshots for people not on Ubuntu/Debian or something similar that does not require testers to check out via bazaar?

For testing a bzr branch that hasn't landed yet, we don't have anything.  Testers have to check out the branch with bzr.

Launchpad does have a feature to let you download a tarball of any revision of any branch: eg http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ed.so/duplicity/lftp.ncftp.and.prefixes/revision/1017?start_revid=1017 click "Download tarball".

For daily testing, the only setup we have right now provides only Ubuntu debs.  (btw for those who are unfamiliar, we provide daily builds of duplicity trunk here: https://launchpad.net/~duplicity-team/+archive/ubuntu/daily )
