[Duplicity-talk] How does remove-older-than works?

Hello,

is it safe to always only backup with:

duplicity --remove-older-than 2M
duplicity $SOURCE $TARGET

My concern is that a file that has not been changed for more than 2  
months (but is still existing) will be deleted. Is a full backup  
necessary every two months or is safe with the lines above?
