Hmmm, wasn't "+" a special character in DOS/Windows filesystems, too?
":" may also make problems on (old) Macs.

Although it's human readable it's much more effort to parse it in the
brain. I definitely prefer the current format, but then again, it's
just because it a little bit easier to read.
