Does that not work.  I did stick in my access_key and secret_key in
the URL and the bucket.  I received this message on standard out.

Unknown protocol 's3+http'
Try using environment variables to store the key and secret, as explained in the mailing list archive here:

Ken, perhaps the documentation could be updated to make this more clear for new people.
